Located inside a passage in Paris left bank Sainte Germaine area, La Jacobine is a very popular restaurant among the tourists. Do not believe! Go there in meal time and you will see the queue.
Price is reasonable, 29€ for 2 courses. The portion size is good and quite delicious. They have traditional French dishes such as onion soup, snail, foie-gras, stew beef, duck breast… The service is quite fast once you are seated.
One problem is that they do not reply the telephone. One has to go there to reserve a table. Besides, they only accept reservation for the first service. That is 12:00 noon or latest 12:30. Lunch is served until 3:30 pm. I had personally went there to book a table for my clients and they were very happy with the meal. They said it was the treat of the day!
It is always a pleasure to make people happy.
