As its name suggested, Du Pain et des Idees (Bread and some ideas) is famous for its different types of bread.
The top sale of Du Pain et des Idees is the pain des amis (bread of friends). This bread, made in the traditional way is very tasty. The inside of the bread is soft and elastic as it should be. The price is reasonable in spit of it’s notoriety. It is sold by weight : 2.95€ for 250g. It is sold out often near the end of the day. What a pleasure to have a “tartine” of this bread with butter and jam , plus a nice cup of coffee. This is the typical French breakfast.
