Last week, I had the pleasure of dining at Bonnard, a vegetarian restaurant that completely redefined my expectations of plant-based cuisine. While three out of four people in our group (myself included) are not vegetarians, none of us felt we were sacrificing flavor or satisfaction in any way.

The menu goes far beyond the usual salads, offering incredibly creative and flavorful dishes that highlight the diversity of vegetarian ingredients. Bonnard’s approach is truly “bistronomic”—a mix of bistro comfort and gastronomic sophistication.

The wine list was equally impressive. My friend, a wine seller, recommended a biodynamic red wine priced at €44 per bottle, which turned out to be an excellent choice and perfectly complemented the dishes.

The restaurant’s ambiance deserves a special mention. Warm and cozy decor made for an inviting and relaxed atmosphere, and the attentive service added to the overall experience. Practical details were also appreciated: the restroom is conveniently located on the ground floor and was clean—an underrated feature in Paris!

For four people, including two starters, two desserts, a main course each, and the bottle of wine, the total came to €203. This is a fair price for such a satisfying and refined vegetarian dining experience.
If you’re looking for a vegetarian restaurant where every bite feels indulgent and creative, I highly recommend Bonnard.
