Chateau de Versailles is one of the most beautiful palace in the world, a model for many European palaces. Built in the 17th century by the famous Sun King, Louis the XIV, the construction work had lasted for 50 years. It is an illustration of the absolute monarchy of Louis the XIV. In this tour, we explore the life of the Sun King in his magnificent palace and I would certainly tell you more stories of the individual royals. . .

Itinerary:
I’ll meet you at your hotel and set off together to Versailles..
Visit the Grand apartment of king, the Mirror’s Gallery, the private apartment of Louis 14, the Queens’ apartment.
Visit the garden or Gallery of Coach (only in weekend afternoons) if time allows.
Full day tour:
Lunch in Petit Venice or in garden coffee shop or a picnic in summer time.
Take the small train (extra cost) or golf car (extra cost) from the garden to visit Marie-Antoinette’s Estate.
We’ll get back to Paris together.
The order of the visit may be adjusted according to the booked visit time, the weather condition and on site situation etc.

“What a tour, Celia is an incredible tour guide. Her knowledge of Versailles is second to none, and somehow she managed to make it fun, exciting, and even funny at times. She is a wonderful person and made last minute accommodations to make sure we would still enjoy ourselves even though there was a strike going on in France.
